General Devices rail slide mounting kit for CX/PM-Series of Sliger Rackmount Server cases.
These rail kits have a slightly thinner design and are therefore suitable also for tighter racks like from manufacturers Startech or similar.
Includes rail slides and extension as per selection and required hardware accessories for mounting onto rack cases and cabinets.
Each version of rail kit includes multiple extensions to cover various rack depths as visible in each version description.
Selection help: For example 14in rail kit with MIN 15in / MAX 31in will fit into racks with depth from 15in all the way to 31in deep.

Our rail slides are heavy duty and have a robust construction. Because of that the standardized inner rack post spacing should be minimum (means equal or more than) 17 – ¾ in wide, which equals to 450,85mm. This inner width is for the rack case and the rack rails. This is not an issue with most standard rack cabinets.
Recently we have noticed with some customers, that some racks cabinets had less than the 450,85mm minimum opening (less than the common 19in rack standard). Most of the observed problematic racks being at around 449-450mm (especially from manufacturer Startech). That leads to the rails not being able to slide out correctly. This new version of rails should in most cases be compatible also with these tight racks.
Therefore, we always recommend measuring the inner rack post spacing first.
